On April 4, a public lecture dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Soghomon Tehlirian’s birth was held at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. One of Tehlirian's relatives, Arpi Oskanian (Tehlirian), was also present at the event.

The speaker was Gohar Khanumyan, the Chief Registrar of the AGMI. She presented Tehlirian’s Berlin prison diary, placing it into scientific circulation for the first time. Tehlirian’s diary is kept in the National Archives of Armenia. It was brought to Soviet Armenia in the early 1980s by Soghomon’s wife, Anahit Tatikian. An incomplete version of the diary, transcribed years later, is preserved at the "Museum of ARF Dashnaktsutyun History." The speaker touched upon Tehlirian’s personal-psychological interpretations as a survivor, his post-traumatic memories, and the structural and contextual features of the diary.

At the end of the lecture, a discussion and Q&A session took place. It was proposed to publish the diary with scientific annotations, which would provide an opportunity to understand Tehlirian's educational level, his linguistic thinking, literary style, and post-traumatic memory in the post-genocide period.
