A delegation of the Leipzig municipal authorities, led by Deputy Mayor for Culture of Leipzig Skadi Jennicke, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, accompanied by Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Claudia Busch.

The delegation was welcomed and accompanied during the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the AGMI. At the beginning of the visit, he presented the history of the construction, architectural features, and significance of the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

Members of the delegation from Germany laid a wreath at the memorial complex commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and then observed a minute of silence by the eternal flame to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Afterward, Hrachya Tashchyan accompanied the guests to the Memory Wall, where the pro-Armenian activities of German figures Johannes Lepsius and Armin T. Wegner were presented.

Members of the delegation took a tour of the permanent and temporary exhibitions, learning about the history of the Armenian Genocide, its execution, the human and cultural losses suffered by the Armenian people, as well as efforts aimed at preserving historical memory. At the conclusion of the tour, the head of the delegation made an entry in the Book of Honorable Guests of the Armenian Genocide Museum.

At the end of the visit, AGMI Acting Director Hrachya Tashchyan thanked the members of the delegation for their visit and presented delegation leader Skadi Jennicke with an illustrated album of the Armenian Genocide Museum.
