A DELEGATION LED BY PIERRE-YVES FUX, DEPUTY STATE SECRETARY AND HEAD OF THE EURASIA DIVISION OF THE SWISS FEDERAL DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, VISITED THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE MEMORIAL

On April 8, Mr. Pierre-Yves Fux, Deputy State Secretary and Head of the Eurasia Division of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, who was in Yerevan for consultations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Switzerland, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial accompanied by the Swiss Ambassador to Armenia, Ms. Andrea Barbara Bauman.
The guests were welcomed and accompanied during the visit by the Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Hrachya Tashchyan. The guests placed flowers at the Eternal Flame and honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence. They toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, where they were introduced to the permanent and temporary exhibitions by Lusine Abrahamyan, the AGMI Deputy Director of Museum Affairs. At the conclusion of the tour, Mr. Pierre-Yves Fux signed the Book of Honorary Guests.
