Today, His Excellency Jamal Al Moosawi, Secretary General of the National Museum of Oman, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum.

He was welcomed and escorted to the Eternal Flame by Edita Gzoyan, Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI). Al Moosawi laid flowers and honored the memory of the innocent victims in silence, after which he toured the memorial complex. Edita Gzoyan presented the history of the Armenian Genocide Memorial's creation and its significance to Armenians. Inside the museum, guide Zhanna Melkonyan presented the history of the Armenian Genocide and specific episodes to the Omani guest.

At the end of the tour, Al Moosawi left a note in the museum's memory book, after which the AGMI Director and the Secretary General of the National Museum of Oman exchanged books as gifts.

Jamal Al Moosawi is in Armenia at the invitation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, within the framework of cooperation with the History Museum of Armenia.
