The delegation led by Anton Hofreiter, Chairman of the Committee on European Union Affairs of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany, accompanied by Harutyun Harutyunyan, Chair of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

The guests were welcomed and accompanied during the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI).

Members of the delegation laid a wreath at the memorial complex commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and then observed a minute of silence by the eternal flame to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

The members of the delegation from Germany also visited the museum and toured the permanent and temporary exhibitions.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation members made notes in the Book of Honorable Guests.

Expressing gratitude for the visit, AGMI Acting Director Hrachya Tashchyan presented Anton Hofreiter, head of the delegation, with an illustrated album of the Armenian Genocide Museum.
