Today, Amanda Pechi, a journalist for VEJA magazine, and Marco Pagetti, a journalist for the SBT television network—leading Brazilian media outlets—visited the Armenian Genocide Museum.
The visit was organized by the Brazil branch of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).
During the visit, the journalists first toured the museum and viewed the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
Following the tour, the Brazilian journalists met with Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, and conducted an interview with him.
During the interview, various aspects of the Armenian Genocide were addressed, as well as the current phase of Armenian-Turkish relations.
During the visit, the Brazilian journalists learned about the history of the Armenian Genocide on site and the ongoing efforts toward preserving its memory, aiming to present these topics to the Brazilian audience in the future.
