On May 19, a delegation led by Latvian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys, who is on an official visit to Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, accompanied by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Mnatsakan Safaryan.
The guests were welcomed and guided during the visit by the Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI), Hrachya Tashchyan.
Latvian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys laid a wreath at the monument eternalizing the memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide, after which the other members of the delegation placed flowers at the Eternal Flame and observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
