Today, April 24, the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum were visited by delegations led by the French Minister Delegate for Veterans and Remembrance, Alice Rufo, and the Minister Delegate for Gender Equality and the Fight against Discrimination, Aurore Bergé, accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies.
After laying flowers at the Eternal Flame, the members of the delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where they were introduced to the permanent and temporary exhibitions by the AGMI senior guide, Hasmik Martirosyan.
At the conclusion of the visit, the ministers signed the Memory Book for Honorable Guests, after which senior guide Hasmik Martirosyan presented both ministers with the French-language illustrated book of the Armenian Genocide Museum and the French edition of Raymond Kévorkian's "The Armenian Genocide and its Consequences."
The memorial and museum were also visited by a delegation led by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, the head of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Senate.
