President of the International Criminal Court, Judge Ms. Tomoko Akane, who arrived in Armenia to participate in the third "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial, accompanied by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Viktor Biyagov.
They were welcomed and accompanied during the visit by the Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI), Hrachya Tashchyan. The guests laid flowers at the eternal flame and honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence. They also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where, accompanied by Meri Yeghikyan, they viewed the permanent and temporary exhibitions. At the conclusion, Ms. Tomoko Akane made an entry in the Memory Book for Honorable Guests.
Expressing gratitude for the visit, AGMI Acting Director Hrachya Tashchyan presented the high-ranking guest with an English-language illustrated book about the Armenian Genocide Museum.
