On October 7, a delegation of municipal authorities from Arnouville and Sarcelles, France, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial. The cities maintain partnership ties with cities in the Kotayk Province.
The five-member delegation was led by Pascal Doll, President of the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration community. The delegation was welcomed and accompanied during the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the AGMI.
The guests from France laid a wreath at the memorial complex commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and then observed a minute of silence by the eternal flame to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Afterward, members of the delegation visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and viewed the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
At the conclusion of the visit, AGMI Acting Director Hrachya Tashchyan thanked the members of the delegation for their visit and presented delegation leader Pascal Doll with an illustrated album of the Armenian Genocide Museum.
