13.10.2018 The Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu Charlot Salwai, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit within the XVII Francophone Summit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied by Aramayis Grigoryan, the Deputy Minister of Diaspora of the RA. The guests from Vanuatu were welcomed by Harutyun Marutyan, the director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, who also introduced to the guests the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

The Prime Minister of Vanuatu laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide. The members of the delegation, headed by the Prime Minister of Vanuatu, also made a tour around the Memory Wall, got acquainted with its meaning and importance.

The guests were also at the Armenian Genocide Museum, and at the end of the tour the Prime Minister Salwai left a note in the Memory Book of the museum: "In commemoration of the disappeared people of the Armenian Genocide... I express my deep sorrow to the children of the Armenian nation. Let God bless Armenia." The AGMI director Harutyun Marutyan awarded the Prime Minister of Vanuatu the Aurora Mardiganyan medal, and the book "Armenian Genocide: Front page Coverage in the World Press".
13.10.2018 The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau accompanied by Zohrab Mnacakanyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RA, Levon Martirosyan, The Ambassador of The Republic of Armenia to Canada, Kamo Areyan, the deputy Mayor of Yerevan, and the representatives of the Armenian community in Canada visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. The guests were welcomed by the AGMI director Harutyun Marutyan, who also introduced to the guests the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. The Prime Minister of Canada laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide.

The Prime Minister of Canada also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, and got acquainted with the museum exhibits and documents about the Armenian Genocide. After a guided-tour at the Museum, Justin Trudeau left a note in the Memory Book of the Museum: "Today we remember the victims of the Armenian Genocide and solemnly swear not to let the history to repeat". The AGMI director Harutyun Marutyan handed to the Prime Minister of Canada gold medal for the high-ranking guests and his book "The Armenian Identity: Genocide Remembrance and the Karabakh Movement" as well as Hayk Demoyan's work "Armenian Genocide: Frontpage Coverage in the World Press".

The guests from Canada also made a tour in the Memory Alley, where the Prime Minister planted a silver fir. In 1996 Canada adopted a resolution condemning the Genocide. On June 13, 2002, the Canadian Senate recognized the Armenian Genocide and condemned any attempt to deny or distort the historical truth and call it by any other word than genocide. In Canada April 24 is the Day of Remembrance of 1.5 million Armenian victims of the 20th century first genocide. In 2004 the House of Commons of Canada recognized the Armenian Genocide committed by the Ottoman Turkey.
12.10.2018 The Prime Minister of Quebec Francois Legault, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit within the XVII Francophone Summit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied by Armen Papikyan, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the RA.

The newly appointed Prime Minister of Quebec laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

The guests from Quebec were welcomed by Harutyun Marutyan, the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, who also introduced to the guests the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

The Prime Minister of Quebec Francois Legault also made a tour in the Memory Alley, where he planted a silver fir.
11.10.2018 The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium Charles Michel, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit within the XVII Francophone Summit in Yerevan, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Karen Nazaryan, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the RA, and Harutyun Marutyan, the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The Prime Minister of Belgium laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

The members of the Belgian delegation also made a tour in the Memory Alley, where the Prime Minister planted a silver fir in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

On March 26, 1998, the Senate of the Belgian Parliament, based on historical research and a number of international legal conventions and resolutions, decided to recognize the 1915 genocide of Armenians living in Turkey, also calling on the Turkish government to recognize the genocide. On July 23, 2015, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Belgium at the plenary session adopted a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide by absolute majority.
11.10.2018 French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. The President of France was accompanied by Zohrab Mnacakanyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RA, Arayik Harutyunyan, the Minister of Education and Science of the RA, Jonathan Lacote, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the RA, Harutyun Marutyan, AGMI Director and Kamo Areyan, the deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
The partner of AGMI Armen Baghdasaryan introduced to the guests the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. Emmanuel Macron laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide.
The members of the delegation, headed by the President of France Emmanuel Macron also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the museum exhibits and documents about the Armenian Genocide. They were also at the Temporary Exhibition Hall, were two new exhibitions entitled "A will to live and a mission to save" and "Krikor Jololian (Chololian): an Armenian Photographer of Paris" were opened yesterday within the framework of the XVII Francophone Summit.
After the guided-tour at the Museum, the President of France left a note in the Memory Book of the museum: "It is with gravity and emotion that we are here today. On behalf of France, I respectfully pay tribute to those who have fallen with "eyes full of sunshine", those who "only wanted to live". France denounced the genocide of 1915 by the intellectuals. France welcomed children and families who had fled the genocide and made our Nation bigger.
France will never forget and carry the fight for truth and recognition. This sad resignation. For those who have fallen. For our generations and those to come.

20.09.2018 Jean Block, the President of the University of California (UCLA), academic scientist and biologist, along with Doctor Erik Israelyan, a well-known American-Armenian physician, Coordinator at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, producer of the movie "The Promise," visited The Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. The guests arrived in Armenia on the invitation of the President of The Republic Armenia Armen Sargsyan.
Doctor Erik Israelyan and Jean Block were accompanied by Harutyun Marutyan, the Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, who presented the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. The guests put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide and then made a tour in the Alley of Memory, where Mr. Israelyan and Mr.
Block watered the tree planted by the creative team of the movie "The Promise" in 2017 in commemoration of Kirk Kerkorian, national hero of Armenia and a distinguished benefactor, thus retaining the promise never to forget the Armenian Genocide.
The guests also had a guided tour in the Museum, got acquainted with the museum exhibits, and at the end of the tour Mr. Israelyan and Mr. Block left a note in the Memory Book of the museum.
15.09.2018 The ambassadors accredited in the Republic of Georgia visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

The members of the diplomatic delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide. The guests were accompanied by the deputy director of the museum Lusine Abrahamyan, who also introduced the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

The members of the delegation also had a guided tour in the Museum, got acquainted with the museum exhibits, and at the end of the tour the guests left a note in the Memory Book.
11.09.2018 On September 10, within the state visit to Armenia Mamouka Bakxtadze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, accompanied by Zohrab Mnacakanyan, the Minister of foreign affairs of the RA, and Kamo Areyan, the Acting Mayor of Yerevan, visited Tsitsernakaberd and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims. The Prime Minister of Georgia laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide.

The guests were welcomed by the AGMI acting director Narine Margaryan and AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan, who introduced to the Prime Minister the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

Mamouka Kakxtadze also made a tour in the Memory Alley, where he planted a silver fir.
04.09.2018 Within the state visit to Armenia, Taro Kono, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

Taro Kono laid a wreath at the Memorial, and with the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide.

The Minister was accompanied by Armen Papikyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RA, and Hrant Poghosyan, the Ambassador of Armenia to Japan.

The guests were accompanied by the AGMI Acting Director Narine Margaryan, who introduced the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.
24.08.2018 Within the state visit to Armenia Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims in Tsitsernakaberd. Angela Merkel was accompanied by the RA Foreign Minister Zohrap Mnacakanyan, Yerevan Acting Mayor Kamo Areyan, AGMI Acting Director Narine Margaryan, and AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan, who introduced to the Chancellor the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany laid a wreath at the Memorial, and the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of the genocide. The delegation from Germany also made a tour in the Memory Alley, where Angela Merkel planted a silver fir.

On June 15, 2005, the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany made a decision on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. On April 23, 2015, Joachim Gauck, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany made a statement on the Armenian Genocide, and on June 2, 2016, the German Bundestag adopted the Armenian Genocide resolution.
31.07.2018 Within the framework of the state visit to Armenia Sergio Mattarella, the President of the Republic of Italy, with Armen Sarkissian, the President of the Republic of Armenia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

The presidents of two countries laid wreaths at the Monument, and with the members of the official delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence. Two presidents were accompanied by Mrs. Mattarella and Mrs. Sarkissian. The high ranking guests were welcomed by Narine Margaryan, AGMI Acting Director.

The delegation from Italy visited also the Memorial Alley, where Italian President planted a fir in memory of the Armenian Genocide Victims. It should be noted, that on November 17, 2000, the Lower House of the Parliament of Italy made a decision condemning the Armenian Genocide.
17.05.2018 On May 16, delegation headed by Bjorn Soder, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Sweden, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied by Eduard Sharmazanov, Deputy Speaker of the RA National Assembly. The guests were welcomed by Gevorg Vardanyan, AGMI Acting Director, and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex, and its symbolism.

The members of the delegation laid a wreath at the Monument, and put flowers at the eternal fire, honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests from Sweden also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the museum exhibits. They left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.
13.04.2018 Delegation led by Elissan Shandalovich, President of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia (RF), accompanied by Mikael Melkumyan, Deputy Speaker of the RA National Assembly, and Vahe Enfiadjyan, member of the RA National Assembly, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

The guests were welcomed by Gevorg Vardanyan, AGMI Acting Director, and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex, and its symbolism. The members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, by honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where they were introduced to the documents confirming the Armenian Genocide, watched the Museum exhibits, and left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.
30.03.2018 The French delegation led by Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, the minister of state attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

The guests were welcomed by Gevorg Vardanyan, the AGMI Acting Director, who introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne laid a wreath at the Monument, and the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence. The French delegation visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, observed the exhibits, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide and left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.

This remarkable work of remembrance strengthening deserves admiration. We need such work related to history. France and the French people are linked with this history of the Armenian people, people who paid with blood. Based on the strong lessons of the history lets together write the new history of our friendship between Armenia and France, he wrote.
27.03.2018 Jean Asselborn, the minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxemburg, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide.

The guests were welcomed by the AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. Minister Asselborn put flowers at the eternal fire, by honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the Memory Alley, where the Foreign Minister planted a nominal fir. The parliament of Luxembourg recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide with a May 6, 2015 resolution.
26.03.2018 On March 24, the delegation of the RF Federal Assembly State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots accompanied by the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan and AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

On behalf of the RF FA State Duma the members of the delegation laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument, and put flowers at the eternal fire, by honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, observed the exhibits, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide and left a note in the Memory Book.
20.03.2018 The delegation of the Political Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF) accompanied by the AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan and the Head of the RA NA delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie Margarit Yesayan visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

The President of the Political Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, the Member of the Senate of France Christophe-Andre Frassa and the members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, by honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The members of the delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, were introduced with the museum exhibits, documentary proofs and photos about the Armenian Genocide and left a note in the Memory Book.
19.03.2018 On March 18, the delegation of the Foreign and European Union Affairs Committee of the Senate of the Republic of Poland accompanied by the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Poland Friendship Group Vahan Harutyunyan, Shirak Torosyan, the member of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and Pawel Cieplak, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Armenia visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

The guests were welcomed by the AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. The Chairman of the Foreign and European Union Affairs Committee of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Marek Rocki and the members of the delegation laid a wreath and flowers at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and at eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide, observed the exhibits and left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.
13.03.2018 Delegation led by Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who has arrived in Armenia on an official visit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and Museum accompanied by Vahan Martirosyan, RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies, and Kamo Areyan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.

The high-ranking guests were welcomed by the AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili laid a wreath at the Monument, and the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

Prime Minister also watered the fir he planted in Memory alley in 2016.
12.02.2018 President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, who has arrived in Armenia on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan. Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Gevorg Vardanyan presented the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism.

The president of Bulgaria laid a wreath at the Monument, and the members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, by honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence. The President and his delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where AGMI deputy director Lousine Abrahamyan presented the history of the first Genocide of the 20th century. At the end of the tour President Rumen Radev left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests. AGMI Acting Director Gevorg Vardanyan handed Golden Medal for high-ranking guests visiting the museum to the President of Bulgaria.

The guests also visited the Memory Alley, where the President of Bulgaria planted a tree.

This is the second fir planted by presidents of Bulgaria.
08.02.2018 The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Armenia Pawel Cieplak visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. He laid a wreath at the Monument, and then the members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire, honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The Ambassador was welcomed by Gevorg Vardanyan, AGMI Acting Director, and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex, and its symbolism.

The delegation from Poland also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum. AGMI Deputy Director Lousine Abrahamyan introduced museum exhibits and presented the history of Armenian Genocide.

The Polish Ambassador left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.
06.02.2018 The delegation led by Dominique de Buman, President of the National Council of the Swiss Confederation, accompanied by Lucas Gasser, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republ;ic of Armenia, and Shirak Torosyan, Member of the Armenian Parliament, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

The guests were welcomed by Gevorg Vardanyan, AGMI Acting Director, and introduced to the history of construction of the memorial complex and its symbolism. Dominique de Buman laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument, and put flowers at the eternal fire, by honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and were introduced to the museum exhibits. President of the National Council of Switzerland left a note in the Memory Book of the Honorable Guests of the museum, where it was particularly mentioned, that he is impressed by the visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Museum, and he is proud of the Swiss resolution on the Armenian Genocide.

On December 16, 2003, the National Council of Switzerland adopted a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
15.12.2017 The Delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Greece Terens Nikolaos Quiq, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, accompanied by RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Vahagn Meliqyan.

Acting Director of the AGM Gevorg Vardanyan introduced the guests with the history of the construction of the memorial complex.

The members of delegation from Greece put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence. They also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and were introduced with the museum exhibits, documentary proofs and photos about the Armenian Genocide. After the guided tour Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Greece also left a note in the Memory Book of Honorable Guests.
14.06.2017 Within the circle of his official visit to Armenia by an invitation from RA President Serzh Sargsyan Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

Emomali Rahmon was accompanied with RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, and AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan, who presented to the guest the history of Genocide Monument construction.

President of Tajikistan laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument and the members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

President of Tajikistan also made a tour in the Memory Alley and watered the fir which was planted back in 2003 in memory of the Armenian Genocide.
05.05.2017 During his official visit to Yerevan Governor of Saint Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko and the visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied with Deputy Mayors of Yerevan Kamo Areyan and David Ohanian, and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin.

The guests were welcomed by AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan.

Saint Petersburg Governor laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument and members of the accompanying delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
07.02.2017 Today, a delegation headed by Chairman of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Sweden visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

Commission Chairman Kenneth G Forslund and the accompanying delegation put flowers at the eternal fire of the Memorial Complex and honoured the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

Swedish parliamentarians also visited Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with proofs, facts and episodes of Armenian Genocide.
16.12.2016 Georgian Interior Minister Georgy Mgebrishvili visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex with his Armenian colleague RA Chief Police Officer Vladimir Gasparyan.

Georgian Interior Minister laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument, after which members of Georgian delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan presented to the guest the construction history of the Genocide Monument. Than the delegation visited Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with proofs and facts of the Armenian Genocide.

Georgian Interior Minister left a note in the Memory Book of Honorable Guests. At the end of the visit Georgian Interior Minister planted a fir in the Memory Alley of the Memorial Complex.

Madam Defraigne placed a wreath at the Genocide Monument and near the eternal fire laid flowers and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

The delegates of the Belgian Senate also visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the facts and proofs of the Armenian Genocide.

08.10.2016 On 8 October, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. Madam Hidalgo laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument and put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

Anne Hidalgo was accompanied with Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, French delegation, members of different French political parties and fractions, Prefects of Paris quarters. The French delegation has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the celebrations dedicated to Yerevan.

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo was welcomed by Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan.

Madam Hidalgo visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the historical facts, Armenian Genocide details, testimonies, horrific incidents, and rescue stories. One of those stories is of Musa Dagh Armenians, who were rescued by the efforts of French seamen.

05.09.2016 In 5th of September, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. Georgian Prime Minister laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument and near the eternal fire honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

Mr. Kvirikashvili and the Georgian delegationalso visited the genocide Museum accompanied with AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan and got acquainted with the museum exhibition.

Georgian Prime Minister has left a note in the Memory Book of Honorable Guests after which AGMI Deputy Director has presented to the Prime Minister a number of AGMI publications.

At the end of the visit Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili planted a fir in the Memory Alley of the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
20.07.2016 In 20th of July, US Congressman Jim Costa visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. Jim Costa was accompanied by Samvel Nikoyan; head of NA Armenia-USA Friendship Group and AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan.

Costa has left flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence. Then he visited the Genocide Museum and watched the exhibition dedicated to Aurora Martiganian; survivor of Armenian Genocide.

At the end of the visit AGMI Director presented to the Congressman the English edition of Armenian Genocide First Page Coverage in the World Press published by Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. .
30.06.2016 On 30th of June, German Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairman Frank Walter Shtinmeier visited Tsitsernakaberd. Shtinmeier laid a wreath at the Memorial Complex, after which the German guests put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

German Foreign Minister was accompanied with RA Foreign Minister, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia Matthias Kiessler, AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan, Armenian and German diplomats.
22.04.2016 In April 22, German Bundestag deputy and member of the ruling coalition CDU / CSU parliamentary Dr. Christophe Bergner visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. Dr. Bergner and German Ambassador to Armenia Bernhard Matthias Kiesler laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan presented to the guests the brief history of the monument, its construction and the symbolic explanation of the structure, after which German high-ranking guests visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the facts and episodes of the Armenian Genocide.

22.04.2016 Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visited Armenian Genocides Museum-Institute. Sergei Lavrov accompanied with the RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, the Russian delegation, and Russian Ambassador to Armenia I. K. Volynkin laid a wreath at the Genocide Monument and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
Russian Foreign Minister visited the Genocide Museum halls accompanied with AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan. AGMI Directed briefly presented the main stages of the Armenian Genocide history, important episodes, described the history and the further process. Sergei Lavrov left a note in the Memory Book of honorable guests.

07.04.2016 Within the framework of the official visit to Armenia Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. The Prime Minister honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence near the eternal fire of the memorial. He also watered the fir, which he had planted in 2008 in the Memory Alley of the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan presented to the Russian Prime Minister his monograph Foreign Policy of Turkey and Karabakh Conflict, that presents in details both military and diplomatic support of Turkey for Azerbaijan during the Karabakh war presented, as well as the promotion to spread international terrorism network in Artsakh and North Caucasus and the facts about mobilizing foreign mercenaries in the region by Ankara and Baku.
11.03.2016 On 11th of March, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin visited Tsitsernakaberd - the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, accompanied with heads of the parliamentary delegations of the CSTO member states, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin, RA NA Deputy Speaker Edward Sharmazanov, and a dozen of journalists from Armenia and abroad covering the visit of high ranking guests.

09.02.2016 In 9th of February, Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex of Tsitsernakaberd. Swedish minister and the accompanied delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
Deputy Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Suren Manukyan accompanied the guests to the Memorial Wall. On the one side of the basalt wall are the buried soils brought from the graves of foreign figures who raised a voice of protest against Armenian Genocide. Those devotees are; Armin Wegner, Hedwig Bull, Henry Morgenthau, Franz Werfel, Johannes Lepsius, James Bryce, Fridtjof Nansen, Fayez al Ghuseyn, Anatole France, Giacomo Gori, Benedict 15th, Karen Jeppe, Jacob Kunzler, Alma Johansson, Maria Jacobsen, Clara Barton, Bodil Biorn.

17.12.2015 On 17 December, Greek delegation headed by Minister of National Defense Panos Kammenos visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. Members of Greek delegation visited the Memorial Complex of Tsitsernakaberd accompanied with AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan, and paid tribute to the innocent martyrs of Armenian Genocide.

Minister Panos Kammenos and the Greek delegation visited Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the facts and documents of the Armenian Genocide, after which Minister Kammenos left a note in the Memory Book of honorable guests.

At the end of the visit AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan presented to the Greek Minister of National Defense the latest publications of AGMI. Mr. Kammenos presented to the museum the medal of Greek Ministry of National Defense.
04.12.2015 In 4 December, representatives of delegations to observe Constitution referendum in Armenia visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. They visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the temporary and permanent exhibitions presenting the proofs and facts of the Armenian Genocide.

Thirty-three delegates visited AGMI coming from fourteen countries; South Korea, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Turkmenistan, and Georgia.

Foreign guests also visited the Memorial Complex and put flowers at the eternal fire.
03.12.2015 In 3 December, Delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. The delegation headed by the President of the Chamber of Deputies Jan Hamachek visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and laid a wreath on behalf of the Parliament of Czech Republic and near the eternal fire they honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

Czech politicians also visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the proofs and documents telling the history of Armenian Genocide. Mr. Jan Hamachek left a note in the Memory Book of honorable guests.

AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan presented to the guests some of the publications of AGMI. Jan Hamachek presented the Czech National Emblem as a souvenir to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.
26.11.2015 In November 26, European Churches Conference delegation (CEC) visited AGMI headed by the Chair of the body Bishop of Anglican Church Christopher Hill. About thirty delegates of Christian ecumenical organization put flowers at the eternal fires and honored the memory of innocent martyrs with a minute of silence. Remembrance ceremony in English language headed by Bishop Hill was held over there, asking the intercession of the saints.

After the prayers the delegation also visited Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the historical facts of the Armenian Genocide.

Around 125 Anglican, Lutheran, Orthodox and Catholic churches are members of European Church Conference. This year the organization held its three-day meeting of the governing body in Armenia.
25.11.2015 Defense Minister of Serbian Republic Bratislav Gashich visited Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex. Serbian delegation headed by Mr. Gashich put flowers near the eternal fire and honored the memory of innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

Bratislav Gashich and the accompanied delegation visited Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the proofs and documents of Armenian Genocide.

AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan presented to Bratislav Gashich some of the publications of AGMI.

Serbian Defense Minister left a note in the Memory Book of honorable guests.
20.11.2015 In November 20, Mayor of Georgian Mtskheta city and representatives of the City Council visited AGMI. Mayor Avtandil Nemsitsveridze, City Council Chairman Ilya Jishkariani, and Municipality Culture and Sport Specialist Tengiz Khutsishvili visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the episodes and proofs of the Armenian Genocide.

Mayor Avtandil Nemsitsveridze left a note in the book of honorable guests. The guest visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial accompanied with Mayor of Etchmiadzin Karen Grigoryan and Deputy Mayors and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.

In the same day, a memorandum of cooperation between the two cities will be signed in Etchmiadzin. Etchmiadzin and Mtskheta will become twin towns.
18.11.2015 In 18 November, Director of world famous company Kaspersky Lab Eugene Kaspersky visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. Renowned specialist of cyber security visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and laid flowers at the eternal fire honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs.

Eugene Kaspersky also visited the Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the presented exhibition. Kaspersky left a note in the book of honorable guests, after which he planted a fir in the Memory Alley.

At the end of the visit Director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan handed some of AGMI publications to Eugene Kaspersky. In 17 November, Eugene Kaspersky has been awarded by RA President Award in the field of Informative Technology for his significant global contribution.
03.11.2015 On 3 November, president of Russian upper house of parliament Valentina Matviyenko visited AGMI accompanied with Russian Federation Council delegation and RA NA Vice President Mrs. Hermine Naghdalyan.

They honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence near the eternal fire of the Memorial Complex.

Mrs. Valentina Matviyenko also visited the museum and got acquainted with the historical documents and proofs of the Armenian Genocide.

At the end of the visit Valentina Matviyenko left a note in the book of honorable guests.

11.10.2015 On October 11, participants of Ministerial Conference of International Organization of Francophonie headed by Secretary General of La Francophonie Michaelle Jean visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied with RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. Heads and members of the delegation honored the memory of innocent martyrs with a minute of silence near the eternal fire.

Delegations of 80 countries from five continents and more than twenty Foreign Ministers of member states arrived in Armenia to participate in the 31st session of the Francophonie Ministerial Conference. During the visit Minister of International Development and La Francophonie of Quebec Christine St-Pierre presented to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute the original resolutions of Quebec National Assembly and the Prime Minister Philip Kuiyar related to the Armenian Genocide.

In his release Prime Minister Philip tells, that the bill proposed by him in April 24, 2015, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide as a tragic and painful episode of the modern history was unanimously adopted as a sign of solidarity with 25 thousand fellow citizens of Armenian descent. Being one of painful pages of human history this genocide is a real lesson for the current and future generations. We must keep the memory alive and record it in history, so that such terrible events will never occur again, reads the report of Philip Kuiyar.
17.09.2015 On 17 September, within his state visit to Armenia Vice-President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Zdenek Skromach visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied with RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov.

Czech parliamentarians laid a wreath at the Monument and put flowers at the eternal fire, and honored silence the memory of the holy martyrs with a minute of silence.

The members of the delegation got acquainted with the documents and exhibits telling about the Armenian great tragedy and left a note in the Memory Book. Zdenek Skromach, Vice President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, has noted that the genocide perpetrated towards the Armenians by its nature resembles enough the Holocaust which has also been acknowledged in the Czech Republic.

We should look at the reality with open eyes, said Zdenek Skromach and added that especially today we should learn lessons from our history, as the big stream of the refugees to Europe from different countries is a consequence of conflicts and wars.
15.08.2015 Members of Helsinki Summer School, more than 50 Turkish intellectuals, lecturers and university students visited Armenian Genocide Museum accompanied with regional analyst of Armenian Assembly in America Alin Ozinian. Director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan presented to the guests the history of Armenian Genocide.
Members of the delegation also visited the temporary exhibition hall and got acquainted with the lately opened exhibition "Armenian Sport and Gymnastics in the Ottoman Empire".
At the end of the visit organizers of Helsinki assembly had a special discussion with Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan.

04.08.2015 On 3 August, members of Turkish delegation who arrived in Armenia to participate in the 6th Pan-Armenian Summer Games, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied with Ishkhan Zakaryan, the Chairman of Pan-Armenian Games World Committee and members of executive committee.

The Turkish delegation comprised of Mayor of Van Bekir Kaya and Co-mayor Hatice Coban, mayor of Bitlis Huseyin Olan, Mayor of Mutk Ozkan Birlik, Mayor of Norshen Emin Ozkan, Mayor of Diarbekir Suri District Fatma Shek Barut and other high-ranking officials.

Members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire of the Memorial Complex and honored the memory of holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence.

The Turkish guests also visited Armenian Genocide Museum accompanied by AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan, and got familiarized with the exhibition. They were introduces with unique exhibition items, photographs and chronicles.

22.07.2015 On July 20, President of the European Council Donald Tusk visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied by the RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan.

Members of the delegation put flowers at the monument of the Armenian Genocide and honored the memory of the holy martyrs with a minute of silence.

President of the European Council also visited the museum of the Armenian Genocide and was introduced to the exhibition.

The AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan presented to the President of the European Council the latest publications of AGMI.
10.07.2015 Participants of the 12th meeting of IAGS visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
Around 130 participants from 35 countries put flowers at the eternal fire of the Memorial Complex and honored the memory of holy martyrs with a minute of silence.
The participants of the conference also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and got acquainted with the exhibition. Most of them could not hide their emotions.

03.07.2015 Delegates of International Medical Forum (July 2-4) visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex Tsitsernakaberd headed by Armen Muratyan, the RA Health Minister and Ara Babloyan, chairman of the forum.
IGMI Director Hayk Demoyan accompanied the guests. Participants of 4th International Medical Forum put flowers at the eternal fire of the Memorial Complex and honored the memory of the Holy martyrs with a minute of silence.
The delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where a special exhibition was dedicated to the doctors working during the years of Genocide.

13.05.2015 On May 12, within the framework of a work visit to Armenia the Delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Dutch House of Representatives led by Harry van Bommel visited the Armenian Genocide memorial in Tsitsernakaberd, accompanied by the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Armenia Artak Zakaryan.

Members of the delegation laid flowers at the Memorial and honored the memory of the 1915 Armenian Genocide victims by a minute of silence.

The delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, and was introduced to the new exhibition. At the end of the visit, Harry van Bommel, head of the delegation, left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.
06.05.2015 On 5th of May, Basque Member of the Spanish Senate Urko Aiartza and Basque Member of the Spanish Congress Rafael Larreina visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to pay their tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. They laid flowers at the memorial and visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

In an interview with Armenpress Rafael Larreina has particularly mentioned: The recognition of the Armenian Genocide is very important. Its a pity that its taking too long. I believe all people and countries supporting justice must recognize the Armenian Genocide, like the Parliament of the Basque Country has done. This is why we wanted to visit the memorial complex to publicly declare our recognition, pay tribute, declare that we share the pain and call on countries not having recognized the Armenian Genocide to do so because this is a matter of humanitarianism and democracy, as well as solidarity between people.

As representatives of the Basques, we will raise this issue at all levels of our activity. Of course, well work with Spanish organizations and institutions so that the government recognizes the Armenian Genocide and shares the pain and joins the European countries having recognized it. A couple of weeks ago, our efforts made the Parliaments foreign affairs committee honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a moment of silence, but we want to receive a consent to hold a plenary session devoted to the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
24.04.2015 On Aril 24 by the invitation of President of RA Serzh Sargsyan the presidents of Russian Federation, France, Serbia and Cyprus visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute to take part in commemoration of victims of the Armenian Genocide. The presidents of Russia, France, Serbia and Cyprus toured Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and got acquainted with the new permanent exhibition.

After the tour the four presidents made notes in register for honoured guests. The presidents were impressed with the newly-opened museum exhibition.

The museum space is expanded by 2.5 times, offering 2400 sq/m. New technologies, design approaches and solutions widely used in the world museum practice are first applied in Armenia. The content solutions of the museum exhibitions, textual materials and explanatory notes are based on the recent scientific and methodological developments in the field of genocide studies. They were prepared in three languages (Armenian, English and Russian) and are the result of the joint and meticulous work of the AGMI staff. Some advisory support has been provided by the museum expert group, established by the State Commission on the Events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

The permanent exhibition of the museum houses thousands of new materials acquired as a result of collection works carried out during the last 7-8 years. Part of the materials is presented in print, as well as through multimedia (projectors and touch-screens). Original and unique photos, books, documents and other items are also presented. The new exhibition space consists of twelve halls instead of former three. The exhibition has 52 main titles.
23.04.2015 Turk journalists who have arrived to Armenia within the framework of Hrant Dink foundation visited the newly reopened Armenian Genocide Museum.

The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan welcomed the Turk journalists and presented the new exhibition.

The exhibition consisting of 12 halls and 52 titles has deeply impressed the quests. During the excursion the AGMI Director allowed the Turk journalists to see and make photos of some original documents presented in print, particularly, the certificated awarded to the Ottoman army officer of the Armenian origin Sargis Torosyan by the Ottoman Minister of War Enver Pasha and one of the laws on the abandoned Armenian properties.

The official and grand opening ceremony of the new exhibition of the Armenian Genocide Museum took place on April 21.
18.04.2015 Delegation of the RA National Academy of Sciences headed by Radik Martirosyan, the President, visited Tsitsernakaberd - the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.

Members of the delegation, comprising members of the Presidency, directors of the institutes, academicians and correspondent members, put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The guests were accompanied by the AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan and Deputy Director Suren Manukyan.
14.04.2015 The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) Anne Brasseur visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex accompanied by the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan.

PACE President laid a wreath at the monument. Than the members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

At the end of the visit Deputy Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum handed a number of AGMI publications to Anne Brasseur.
10.04.2015 Famous Armenian-American TV stars Kim and Khloe Kardashian, world famous singer Kanye West and the accompanying delegation visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. The guests were accompanied by the AGMI Deputy Director Suren Manukyan. He presented to the guests the history of the Armenian Genocide and the memorial complex.

Kardashian sisters put red tulips at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence. The guests also visited to the Memorial Wall of the Genocide Museum, and were introduced with the history of the American humanitarian aid during the years of genocide, as well as unprecedented humanitarian activities carried out afterwards.

Suren Manukyan also presented the story of Henry Morgenthau, the US Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire. At the end of the meeting a number of AGMI publications were handed to Kardashian sisters; Ravished Armenia by Aurora Mardiganian, "Armenian Genocide: Front Page Coverage in the World Press", Expedition in Asia Minor and Relief Operation by Clara Barton, and International Journal of Armenian Genocide Studies.
02.04.2015 The members of the AGBU 88th General Assembly headed by the chairman Berj Sedrakian visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

AGBU chairman laid a wreath at the monument and then the members of the delegation from different countries put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The guests also visited the temporary exhibition hall of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute accompanied with the AGMI Director and got acquainted with the exhibition on the history of the Armenian Genocide.
31.03.2015 Within his working visit to Armenia (March 30-31) the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin visited Tsitsernakaberd - the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex, accompanied with RA NA Deputy Speaker Edward Sharmazanov.

At the end of the visit the AGMI Director handed to the Chairman of the Russian State Duma the Golden Medal of the museum which is presented to high-ranked official guests, as well as his latest published books; "Armenian Genocide: Front Page Coverage in the World Press" and Turkey's Foreign Policy and the Conflict of Nagorno Karabakh.
20.03.2015 The heads of Customs Authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states, headed by the Armenian Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan, visited the Armenian Genocide memorial complex Tsitsernakaberd.

The heads of the delegations laid a wreath to the memorial. The guests, arrived from different countries, also visited the Eternal Flame commemorating the innocent victims and honored the memory of the victims with a moment of silence.

The guests, accompanied by the Deputy Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Souren Manoukian, had a tour around the memorial. The Deputy Director presented the history of the Armenian Genocide.
16.03.2015 The Participants of the Fourth Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

The members of delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The guests accompanied by Souren Manoukian, the deputy director of AGMI, had a tour around the memorial. He accompanied the guests to the Memory wall representing the support provided to the Armenian orphans and refugees by missionaries of various nationalities during the Armenian Genocide.

Suren Manukyan noted that the Armenian Genocide is not only a story of cruelty and violence but also humanism and sustain.
05.03.2015 Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, Juozas Bernatonis accompanied by Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Hovhannes Manukyan visited Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide memorial.

The guests laid wreath to the memorial of eternal fire and honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a moment of silence.

The delegation from Lithuania also visited the temporary exhibitions hall of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, where the temporary exhibits concerning the Armenian Genocide were introduced to the members of the delegation.
27.02.2015 In the framework of his official visit to Armenia the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Iraq Baqir Jabr Al-Zubeidi visited Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide memorial.

Baqir Jabr Al-Zubeidi laid a wreath to the memorial and the Iraqi guests honored the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide with a moment of silence.

Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan presented the history of US diplomatic and humanitarian aid. They also had a tour at the Memory wall.
At the end of the visit Director of AGMI handed the US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland gold medal of Clara Barton.
17.02.2015 Within the framework of his state visit to Armenia the Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Georgia David Usupashvili visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied by the RA NA Vice President Hermine Naghdalyan.

The Chairman of the Georgian Parliament laid a wreath at the monument. The Georgian guests honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The Greek president laid a wreath at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims, than members of Greek delegation laid flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute told the story of the Memorial Complex construction to the Greek president Karolos Papoulias and the accompanying delegation.
The Greek president also visited the Memorial Alley and watered the fir which he had planted during his first visit to the Memorial Complex in 2007. Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute handed the president the memorable Fridtjof Nansen Gold Medal.
Recall, that on September 9 Greece has adopted a draft law criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial, and in 24 April 1996 the Greek parliament recognized the historical fact of the Armenian Genocide.

12.05.2014 The delegation headed by the President of France Francois Hollande who is on an official visit to Armenia and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on May 12, 2014. The presidents of Armenia and France laid wreaths at the Genocide Memorial.
Francois Hollande and the accompanying delegation laid flowers at the eternal fire and observed a minute of silence in the memory of the innocent victims. At the end of the visit President of the French Republic planted a fir at the Memorial Alley of Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
Director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan handed to the leader of France a Gold Medal, which is awarded to distinguished guests of the museum, along with a symbolic copy of the law by which France officially recognized the Armenian Genocide in 2001. The copy was printed on paper made from recycled flower petals laid to the eternal flame in Tsitsernakaberd on April 24.
23.04.2014 The delegation headed by the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania Juozas Olekas visited Tsisernakaberd Memorial Complex at 23 April, 2014.

The Minister of National Defence laid a wreath at the Genocide Memorial. Than, Juozas Olekas and the accompanying delegation laid flowers at the eternal fire and observed a minute of silence in memory of the innocent victims.

The Lithuanian delegation accompanied by director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan visited the newly opened temporary exhibition "First World War: Allies, Images, Massacres" in the new-built exhibition hall of AGMI. The exhibition is dedicated to the centenary of World War I.

The Lithuanian Seimas (parliament) on 15 December 2005 adopted a resolution condemning the Armenian Genocide, which calls on Turkey to recognize and accept that historical fact.

The director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan presented the brief history of the Armenian Genocide and the construction of the Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial to the Russian President and his accompanying delegation.
The director of the Armenian Genocide Museum handed to the Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin, golden replicas of the medals, which were issued in Petrograd with charity purposes, to help the survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. The medal depicts the coat of arms of the Russian Empire with the two-headed eagle and the traditional Armenian cross and carries the inscription which reads "From the Russians to the Armenians in the time of great peril."
Recall, that on April 14, 1995, the Russian State Duma adopted a statement recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide.
17.11.2013 Mr. Tsugio Makimoto, the President of Semiconductor Industry Association, former CEO of the Hitachi Company and Mrs. Kumiko Makimoto visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial and honored the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide with a minute of silence. Mr. Makimoto also visited Armenian Genocide Museum and left a note in the Commemoration Book. At the end of the visit he planted a fir at the Memorial Alley of Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Mr. Tsugio Makimoto arrived in Armenia to receive a 2013 RA Presidential Award for Global Contribution in the Area of Information Technologies .
06.11.2013 President of the Austrian Constitutional Court Gerhart Holzinger, who arrived in Armenia for an official visit, visited the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide. Members of the Austrian delegation laid flowers at the eternal flame of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. Austrian delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and got acquainted with the museum exhibition.
29.10.2013 The Minister of National Defence of Greece Dimitris Avramopoulos paid tribute to Armenian Genocide victims. Mr. Avramopoulos laid a wreath at the memorial of Genocide victims at Tsiternakaberd. A delegation headed by Minister of National Defence of Greece put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence. Greek delegation also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.


21.10.2013 Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Director-General of the United Nations Office in Vienna (UNOV) Yury Fedotov on October 21, 2013 visited the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims and the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

Yuri Fedotov laid a wreath at the memorial of Genocide victims then laid flowers at the eternal fire of the Genocide victims and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.


11.10.2013 Members of delegations from all over the world, who arrived in Yerevan, with the invitation of the town hall of Yerevan to participate Erebuni-Yerevan festival, visited the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims, Tsitsernakaberd.

The visitors laid flowers at the eternal fire of the Genocide victims with a minute of silence in remembrance of the innocent victims.

Members of delegations from different countries visited the Armenian Genocide Museum & Institute with Museum Director Dr. Hayk Demoyan. The guests got acquainted with the exposition, as well as the temporary special exhibition, which was organized for the day.

The guests were introduced to the exclusive exhibits, which signify the donations that were made in different countries in favor of the Armenians in the years of Genocide.

The visitors wrote some notes in the memory book of the museum.
28.09.2013 The delegation of the Yezidis visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. The delegation of the Yezidis, who arrived from Iraq, Russia and European countries was headed by the son of the leader of the Yezidis, Mir Hazm Beg. The delegation is in Armenia to participate in a ceremony marking the anniversary of the consecration of the pilgrimage site near the village of Aknalich, Armavir region.

The representatives of the Czech Parliament have been at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, watched with interest the exhibits, and got acquainted with the documents witnessing the Genocide.
29.08.2013 On Thursday the delegation of Russian public figures visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex . The delegates laid wreaths at the Memorial and visited Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The delegation includes ex-employee of the Russian intelligence, author and host of a program broadcasted on Russian Ren-TV channel Anna Chapman, a member of the Public Chamber of Russia Denis Dvornikov, human rights activist Sergey Karnaukhov, correspondent of the Russian Reporter magazine Alexandra Ryzhkova and others.
06.03.13 On March 6, the delegation headed by the President of the Bundestag of the Federal Republic of Germany Norbert Lammert, accompanied by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

Norbert Lammert and his delegation, accompanied by the director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan, visited the Armenian Genocide Museum where they got acquainted with the exhibition items of the museum. The President of the FRG Bundestag left a note in the Commemoration Book expressing his support to the Armenian nation.
It should be noted that, the National Assembly of FRG has recognized the Armenian Genocide on July 15, 2005.

During the visit the director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan briefly presented the history of the construction of the Armenian Genocide victim's memorial and museum, the preparations for the centennial of the Armenian Genocide and outlined the motives of Turkish regimes to destroy the Armenian population of the Ottoman Empire and beyond its borders as an intended crime of genocide aiming at the creation of Turkish nation state under the slogan "Turkey for Turks". AGMI director as a gift passed the recent publications of the Armenian Genocide museum to the guest.
17.11.12 On November 17, Jorge Orrico, President of the House of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, who arrived in Armenia at the invitation of RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. 26.06.12 President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer, within the framework of his official visit to Armenia, and first lady Margit Fischer visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex accompanied by Armenian Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Austria Arman Kirakosyan. President of Austria laid a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims after which the members of the Austrian delegation put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

25.06.12 Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania Mrs. Rasa Jukneviciene and her accompanying delegation visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the Lithuanian delegation put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
The Lithuanian delegation headed by Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Lithuania also visited Armenian Genocide Museum and took a tour of the museum where Mrs. Rasa Jukneviciene left a note in the Commemoration Book.
It should be noted that on December 15, 2005, the Seim (parliament) of Lithuania passed a resolution condemning the 1915Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
12.06.12 Procurator - General Cao Jianming of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China, who is in Yerevan at the invitation of RA Prosecutor General Agvan Hovsepyan, and his accompanying delegation visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Procurator - General of China put a wreath at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims after which the members of the Chinese delegation put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The Chinese delegation also visited Armenian Genocide Museum and took a guided tour of the museum. Afterwards Procurator - General Cao Jianming of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China left a note in the Commemoration Book.
04.05.12 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay Luis Almagro, within the framework of his official visit to Yerevan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the Uruguayan delegation headed by Luis Almagro put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

It should be noted that in 1965 Uruguay became the first country in the world to recognize the fact of the Armenian Genocide and declared April 24 as a "Day of Remembrance for the Armenian Martyrs".
16.04.12 Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel Orit Noked visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the Israeli delegation headed by Orit Noked put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

Minister of Agriculture Orit Noked, accompanied by Director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan, Minister of Agriculture of RA Sergo Karapetyan, took a guided tour of the museum. Afterwards Orit Noked left a note in the Commemoration Book: "As a woman, as a Jewish and as a human being, I am shocked at what I see in the photos, I am shocked at the murders of innocent Armenian families".

05.04.12 Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Audronius Azubalis, within the framework of his official visit to Yerevan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the Lithuanian delegation headed by Audronius Azubalis put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

04.04.12 Foreign Affairs Minister of the Republic of Cyprus Dr Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, who is in Armenia at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the Cyprus delegation headed by Dr Erato Kozakou put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

09.12.11 President of Lebanon Michel Sleiman, who is in Armenia on an official visit, accompanied by his spouse Wafaa Sleiman visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims.
The members of the Lebanese delegation put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
President of Lebanon and his accompanying delegation visited Armenian Genocide Museum and took a tour of the museum after which President Michel Sleiman left the following note in the Commemoration Book. "The one, who stands in front of this monument, sees the glorious history of struggle and sacrifice. I wish prosperity to the friendly Armenian people".
The director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan handed President of the Republic of Lebanon Michel Sleiman a Golden medal which is given to the high-ranking officials who visit Armenian Genocide Museum.
The members of the Lebanese delegation also had a tour of the Memory Alley, where President of Lebanon Michel Sleiman planted a fir.
It should be noted that in 2000 the Lebanese Parliament recognized and condemned the genocide carried out in 1915 against the Armenian people.

11.11.11 The co-founder of "Apple Computers" corporation Steve Wozniak visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, put flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The famous co-founder of "Apple Computers" corporation Steve Wozniak visited Armenian Genocide Museum, took a tour of the museum and left a note in the Commemoration Book.

27.10.11 Mayor of Montreal Gerald Tremblay, who has arrived in Armenia to take part in the General Conference of the International Association of Francophone Mayors, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and laid a wreath at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the Canadian delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

15.10.11 CIS Internal Affairs Ministers, arrived in Armenia on October 14, 2011, accompanied by chief of the Republic of Armenia police Alik Sargsyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and laid a wreath at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The high-ranking officials of the CIS countries put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
The Ministers of Internal Affairs accompanied by the director of AGMI Hayk Demoyan visited Armenian Genocide museum where they took a guided tour of the museum and left a note in the Commemoration Book.
Afterwards the CIS delegation members have a tour of the Memory Alley where Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgalin watered the fir which has been planted within one of the previous visits.

07.10.11 President of France Nicolas Sarkozy, within the framework of his two-day state visit to Armenia, accompanied by RA President Serz Sargsyan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. President of Armenia and President of France put wreaths at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide Victims.
President of France Nicolas Sarkozy and accompanying delegation laid flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.
The Armenian and the French delegations headed by two presidents visited Armenian Genocide Museum and took a tour of the museum. The director of the Armenian Genocide Museum and Institute Hayk Demoyan introduced the guests to the museum exhibition which on the occasion of the visit of high-ranking officials has been completed with new materials. President of France Nicolas Sarkozy left a note in the Commemoration Book, which reads: "France doesnt forget".
Afterwards the members of delegation arrived from France had a tour of the Memory Alley, where President Sarkozy planted a fir.
In 2001, France became the first country which recognized the Armenian Genocide by special law.

28.07.11 Today the delegation headed by Olav Tveit the Secretary General of the World Council of Churches, which is visiting Armenia at the invitation of His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin 2nd, visited the Tzitzernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims.
The representatives of the World Council of Churches laid flowers at the Eternal Fire and observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the Genocide.
The delegation of the World Council of Churches headed by the Olav Tveit also took a guided tour of the Armenian Genocide Museum and viewed the exhibition. Secretary General of the World Council of Churches Olav Tveit left a note in the Commemoration Book. Thereupon the members of the delegation made a tour in the Memorial Alley of the Tzitziernakaberd Complex where a fir was planted by the Secretary General of the World Council of Churches Olav Tveit.

28.07.11 Today President of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski, within the framework of his official visit to Armenia, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the Memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims.
The Polish delegation headed by President Komorowski visited Armenian Genocide Museum, where they took a guided tour of the museum and President of the Republic of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski left the following note in the Commemoration Book. "I pay tribute to the victims. Poland also had a dramatic history. With a deep sympathy we bow to the tragedy of the Armenian people."

11.07.11 The Speaker of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn, within the framework of his official visit to Armenia, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims.

The members of the Ukrainian delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

17.06.11 Minister of French Cooperation Henri de Raincourt visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, within the framework of his official visit to Armenia on June 16-17, and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims.

17.06.11 The delegation headed by President of Brest Regional Executive Committee in Belarus Konstantin Sumar visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Mr. Konstantin Sumar put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims.

Afterwards the delegation visited Armenian Genocide museum, took a guided tour of the museum and the head of the delegation Konstantin Sumar left a note in the Commemoration Book.

14.06.11 At the invitation of the Armenian Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan Foreign Minister of Swedish Kingdom Carl Bildt visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex within his official visit to Armenia and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. The members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire and honored the memory of the innocent victims with a minute of silence.

The delegation of the Swedish Kingdom also visited Armenian Genocide Museum where they took a guided tour of the museum and Foreign Minister Carl Bildt left a note in the Commemoration Book.

18.05.11 Today the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek, within the framework of his official visit to Armenia, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims and put flowers at the eternal fire. The President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek visited Armenian Genocide museum where he took a guided tour of the museum and left a note in the Commemoration Book.

Afterwards the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek planted a fir at the Memorial Alley of Tsitsernakaberd Complex.

10.05.11 On May 10, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Petros Efthymiou, within his two day visit to Armenia, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. Afterwards the members of the delegation put flowers at the eternal fire.

05.05.11 On May 5, President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, who was in Armenia within the framework of her visit to the South Caucasus, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide victims. President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite visited Armenian Genocide museum where she took a guided tour of the museum and left a note in the Commemoration Book in the name of Lithuanian people. Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan handed President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite a golden medal which is given to the high ranking officials who visit Armenian Genocide museum.

Afterwards, Dalia Grybauskaite planted a fir at the Memorial Alley of Tsitsernakaberd Complex.

31.03.11 At the invitation of RA President Serzh Sargsyan President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of Armenian genocide victims within a two-day official visit to Armenia. The President of Switzerland Micheline Calmy-Rey watered a fir at the Memorial Alley which has been planted in 2006.

It should be noted; on December 16 2003, the Swedish Parliament has adopted a resolution recognizing the mass murders of the Armenian people at the beginning of the 20th century and that the denial of the Armenian genocide considers being punishing act in Switzerland.

17.02.11 On February 16-17, Foreign Affairs Minister of China Yang Jiechi, who is in Armenia at the invitation of the Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and put a wreath at the memorial of Armenian genocide victims within the framework of the official visit to Armenia.

Afterwards the Chinese delegation took a tour of the Armenian Genocide Museum, where Mr. Yang Jiechi left a note in the Commemoration Book.

11.02.11 On February 10-11, at the invitation of Armenian Foreign Affairs Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Foreign Affairs Minister of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex within the framework of the official visit to Armenia.

The Foreign Minister Konstantin Girshchenko put a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian genocide victims and visited Armenian genocide museum. The Foreign Minister took a guided tour of the museum and got introduced to the details concern the history of the Armenian genocide. Afterwards, Konstantin Girshchenko left a note in the Commemoration Book.

29.11.10 The head of the Russian Presidential Administration Sergey Narishkin visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex of the Armenian genocide in the framework of a state visit in Armenia and laid a wreath at the monument of the Armenian Genocide victims. Mr. Narishkin, accompanied by the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan, got acquainted with materials depicting the big tragedy of 1915, and left a note in the Commemoration Book.
